Private Residence, North Devon

A brand new dwelling that is located in the picturesque village of Croyde in North Devon.

Marbas are working with McLean Quinlan Architects on this stunning new property, which is nestled into the hillside and overlooks the village and award winning beach.

The building has been designed using a combination of steel frames creating large open plan living space, but also using traditional load bearing masonry where possible. It has been designed to blend into the surrounding countryside with a sloped site creating significant substructure challenges, requiring retaining walls to achieve the stepped floor levels.
