Berth 2, Portsmouth International Ports
Berth 2 is to be extended to receive a 43,000t cruise ship as part of the expansion works at Portsmouth International Ports.
Marbas’ marine division are responsible for delivering the design of the altered and extended berth and new mooring dolphin.
The works include reducing the level of the existing berth 2 to facilitate a wider range of vessel access and to extend the quay 40 metres seaward over an existing dolphin.
A new mooring dolphin will be constructed 30m off the quay to complete the facility for vessels up to 255m in length.
